Answers:
a therapist gets inside your head and a social worker interferes with your lifestyle
different liscenses but same schooling basically (one is like a Liscenesed Family and Child Counselour and the other is Liscensed Clinical Social Worker)
and their general focus in their work
I call my social worker my therapist since it is therapy, but as for technical terms a psychologist typically has a psyd pr phd which is like an extra 6 years of school while a social worker has a Masters which is 30 to 60 credits. I think my social worker has been sooo much better than any other psychologist I have ever had. Its all about who you are an what you need. Try on both and see what happens.
not much...but each specialize in what their doing. clinical social workers work in the mental health field, as do therapists. make sure you approve of the treatment plan, and feel comfortable around whomever you see.
