Disability Services?
Question:
This is what my schools website says:
"Persons with documented disabilities who are in need of disability services or accommodations are encouraged to contact Disability Services. The university respects the student’s right to disclose or not to disclose a disability, however the university is not responsible for providing services or accommodations for students who do not disclose a disability to Disability Services. To receive services or accommodations, students must provide the appropriate documentation. Communication of a disability to other sources does not serve as a substitute for official notification to the Office of Disability Services."
Answers:
You need a letter signed by the doctor who has diagnosed your condition. If you want to get services, you will have to disclose to the Disability Services Office what your condition is so they can get you the proper counseling/therapy. They are under confidentiality laws and will not be able to tell anyone else.
Contact the Disability Service Office at the school for further information.
Call the school and ask about what you want and need. Discuss it first with them over the phone.
you can try getting a case manager and talking to them they are pretty knowledgeable about those thing and many more and they maybe able to link you with someone near your campus
