You need to see your Doctor as soon as possible. Tell him or her the truth and ask for a referral to a counselor. You are at a critical stage and need some help. Don't listen to the voice that's telling you not to as this is the addicted part of your brain and it will continue to trick you into doing more drugs and alcohol which will spiral you out of control until you become sick, or land in jail...
you sould see a doc and he could prescribe you some antideppressents. Don't worry, you'll get through this! Every one has some type of depression at some point in their life.
Good luck!
See a psych or your primary doctor. They have ways to help you. Or you can admit yourself into a behavior health unit, attend support groups, write out how you feel and show someone. I'm sure they will help you if they care. Do what I used to do, write out on paper what is bothering me and accidently leave it out where someone can read it.
I would work on it with a all over approach. Load up on the minerals, clean out your colon regularly (75% of seritonin is made in colon) and make sure your not being contaminated with toxins. Food allergies? www.awisealternative.com

If you think you're not working with the same brain chemicals as everyone else, you can change them.
Isolation usually means low beta-endophins. Craving alcohol points to low serotonin
Firstly you have to resist all tamptation to isolate, the way psychology works is; if you isolate and find comfort in it you begin to do it more often and obviously this is not good. I used to like small places when I got depressed but hiding was not the answer, it took a while to break myself of the habit but with the help of a DR and MEDS I am now able to face problems a little more head on rather than isolate myself from the world and abuse drugs. Depression is a beast but you can get through it if you are strong enough to ask for the help you need.
