Can you say to someone that YOU FEEL is trying to put FEAR into?

Question:
you...You know how people sometimes try to scare you...and you are an adult??...Are you trying to scare me?...can you say that? if you are at work?

Answers:
Of course you can say that...bare in mind though, that no one makes you feel anything, you decide what you feel, you make a choice to feel scared. No on makes you do anything.
You can tell them that the information they are giving you is causing more harm that good. While you appreciate that they are trying to help, you need for them to stop giving you advice for the time being.
I wouldn't say 'are you trying to scare me?' I would kick them in the ballz.
