People commit suicide because it seems to be the only way to end their suffering. When you get so sick of life that you dont care anymore...you dont care about yourself or anyone that you love, you just want to end your pain and that is all that matters. When you get so depressed that you cant even breathe or so disgusted with yourself over something that you did that you just want to slice yourself open and get rid of the bad parts... and you just cant take the feelings anymore, that is when ppl commit suicide. it isnt so much for love, but it can be from a broken heart. i'm glad that you are asking y ppl do it instead of how to do it. that makes me happy :)

Because being deceased ends the pain in a very permanent sort of way.
I think that it's because people have a problem or an issue that they think can't be resolved so they think the only way to solve it is to commit suicide. It's very sad and I just hope if people are having problems they should talk to someone and get help.
I tried because life wasn't worth living.things were so bad. I lost my job, my hubby was yelling at me, no income, it felt like the world was against me. Why did I need to live in a world that wasn't going right.
It is depression that does it for me.
Everyone does it for a different reasons. There isn't just one reason people kill themselves.
People commit suicide to end their lives. They don't see any way out of their depression. Oftentimes they refuse to get treatment for various personal reasons.
From my own experience, I thought I wanted to die. I saw no other way out. I could no longer deal with my life. I felt hopeless, helpless, trapped in a black box with no windows, doors or light. I wanted the pain to end. I had no options.
Fortunately, I had a therapist who stayed with me even when I made his life hell, too.
Some do it because they feel like no one cares, Others do it because they think to much pressure is on them an its the only way to get it out.
