What are the best ways that I can implement the necessary changes in my life, to be productive?

I am currently battling many destructive behaviors in my everyday life, i.e. compulsive spending, compulsive eating, anger, depression, bad decision making, obsessive thinking, restlessness, lack of focus and concentration, lack of motivation, withdrawn from others and unemployment. All that i have left is some goals and some hope, but the behaviors i mention above impede my sucess greatly. It actually physically hurts to go against these behaviors. Any advice or words of encouragement.

Make a list of your short term goals. Make it your "job" to try to achieve these goals. Don't make them too difficult to achieve. Start off slow and check them off each day to see if you have done your job for that day. This list can include things like cleaning the house, going for a walk, reading a chapter in a book etc. Once you have established a pattern of setting and achieving goals you can expand them to include some tasks that you find unattainable right now.
