but for some reason when i posted my question, a coupla people were askin me how could i be on the computer, and thought that it was a joke( Riptide_71 and cinderella)
Do you think that treatment centers have computers and electronics, for recreational activites? if not then why do treatment centers have a pool? most in texas do. why have a pool and not electronics?
for the 1 partial hospilization program i had went to in San Antonio a few months back, we used the same rec facilities as the inpatient care, they had a whole row of computers, with available internet acess of course your parents have to sign a form?
Why is that?
Why dont people belive that there are computers in residentil facilities and other electronics like DVD players etc...?
i want an honest opinion please

The facility that I worked in had computers available for the patients. Some patient's were restricted from using them due to inappropriate behavior but the general patient population was allowed to use them during designated periods.
the psychiatric ward i was in did not allow the use of computers, but i think that some should have the right to use them while in treatment.
well some ppl think that computers and electronic devices can mess up everything for working towards getting better i guess
