Burning feeling in forearms?

Question:
I was just wondering why whenever I think self-criticizing thoughts or get upset, I feel a burning in my forearms. I've been figuring it's adrenaline (except I haven't noticed my heart beating any faster or anything), but I'm not sure. I asked a few people about it, and apparently it's a completely alien concept around here =\.

So, tell me.
Is this sensation caused by adrenaline? / some other hormone? (if so, what?)
Am I an alien, or is this sensation normal?

Thanks
(And sorry if this is in the wrong spot..I really couldn't decide where to stick it)

Is that whats called a psychosomatic response..

it could just be the way your stimulus response system has developed.. for instance stimulation of the memories or thoughts in one part of your brain may be tied in with your nervous system perceptors.

I get this intuitive sense that makes me think I'm slacking off or should be doing something especially if I may not meet a deadline for something.. it works both ways.. either the feelings comes first or the thought comes first.

It is a type of anxiety I think.. mine is in the chest but I also get pressure in my head sometimes too that I crack. Stress.. so for you you may just have a psychosomatic effect to your arms instead of another body part. it does happen with different thoughts for me in other body parts too.

maybe it's related to the chakra's
