Is this normal?

Question:
I once had a dream and in it something landed on my head, i immediately woke up, got into a sort of crawling position and started shaking my head without even realising it, then i did realise what i was doing and stopped. Some time after i was daydreaming and something flew in front of me and my hand grabbed out to get it in real life. its like my dreams and thoughts are starting to become more real (or not, i dont know, thats why im posting this question)

Answers:
no, its not normal.
Stop taking the little pills and stick to the big ones.
don't scare me!
belive it or not the same thing sorta happens 2 me i think its perfectly normal
go to a doc and explain the same thing you just did here... if this is happening more and more frequently then you may need some meds..
Yeah, when you dream its possible to do the actions you do in the dream, as you sleep. Like if your running away from something, its natural for your legs to move and for you to begin breathing heavily. You can do that kind of stuff as you daydream too. Once i was choking on something in a dream, and i woke up and every time i lied down to try to fall back asleep i felt like i was choking.
The mind is a strange and complex thing. Our dreams are often the mind's way of working out issues that are bothering us. Daydreaming is the imposition of the subconscious mind on the conscious. Therefore, you need to find the source of your anxiety. What exactly is it that is disturbing you. Once you do that the problem should go away.
Same thing happened to me years ago. I had a dream that I was drowning and I woke up, sat up and was gasping for breath.
And no, I hadn't fallen asleep in the bath.
yea its just your mind playing tricks on you while you dream, its totally normal, I had a dream i had to base jump and i threw myself of the bed! lol . as long as it only happens when your day dreaming (or at night obviously) its ok
You are not mad - it is the rest of us.
to my knowledge its normal. most of the time the things that come up in our dreams are those we thought during the day time or some times they can be about things you want to do in the future.
It is normal and can be common. I get i alittle, mostly when i am first falling asleep. I will hear someone call my name, it will wake me up, of course there was no one there. Or i will fall asleep and i had this one where i was sitting and someone was about to hit me in my kidney, i woke up arching my back trying to brace for the kick. I think its just your mind winding down and all sences working at once. I have talked to a doctor about it, because with me it started happening right when i got back to Iraq, but he told me its normal and nothing to worry about. Sorry, i know this is vague, but i hope it helps.
yes its normal. i don't know what it is called though. i do know that when u dream ur brain sends out a chemical to make ur body paralyzed so u wont hurt yourself or any one else while u sleep. so ur body won't react to ur dreams. but i know what u mean. i ve been going through alot the past 11/2 yrs so i think stress is a factor. i was dreaming of bitting someone because they had pi--ed me off and i woke up because i actually felt flesh between my teeth, i was bitting my husband, thankfully not that hard because he did not wake up and i did not leave marks.
It's called hypnogogic hallucinations. This occurs when REM sleep is interrupted. Wait a few weeks and if it continues, see a doctor.
is normal dont worrry that happens to me too. sometimes i yell in my sleep and i dont realize it until i wake myself up. if you have a bad dream, pinch yourself. it works for me.
no
yes it happens all the time! dreams and waking life do mix 2gether!
i wouldnt worry about it, really, i have dreams where im stepping off a cliff and i wake up with my leg in the air and with the physical sense of falling. i reckon its normal. :)
