For the record, I think it's disgusting and nauseating, but someone just posted a weird question about sexual attraction to an object. To each his own of course, but can you say 'mentally disturbed?' Is beastiality considered a mental disorder or what exactly?

This is a very serious sin which does make one mentally ill with many traits of a psychopath and generally associated with only criminal minds. The possession of man by this evil spirit of beastiality is as old as mankind and the social penalties use to be very strict with the penalty being death to both the person and the animal. Many sinful obsessions and evil spirit possessions cause people to behave in horrific evil unthinkable ways they otherwise would not. It is very serious to avoid sin because it will take you further than you want to go, leave you longer than you want to stay, and always when it's finished causes death and destruction. What someone else does IS our business as a society so I disagree with "to each his own course". You wouldn't apply that to the sin of murder, rape, incest, etc. One good reason to obey God's laws is for our health, mentally and physically as well as spiritually. The ways of a transgressor are hard.

Bestiality should be considered a mental disorder if it isn't... but it is illegal. and as far as the object issue goes. our culture and society try to relate everything to a sexual appeal, especially those in advertising.. it is really pretty sad and pathetic that there isn't more important things in more peoples lives than everything being about sex.

Beastiality is a disorder of the strangest kind, that's for sure. It would be like molesting a child or a mentally disabled person in my opinion...but ya gotta admit, Scooby Doo is kinda cute!
