In my case it's normal.
When someone calls you strange, it means they don't understand you. Its up to you to decide whether its good or bad.
Usually they mean it as bad, but you might as well not interpret it that way.
Most people would have considered the greatest people on Earth as strange: Jesus, walking around Galilee; Gandhi and Mother Teresa, in their single robes; Marie Curie and Thomas Edison, studying all the time. Yet, they did tremendous things for the world.
The "ordinary" people often do the "ordinary" things in this world. The "strange" people introduce newness & creativity!

It's really all perspective... in my view if you don;t show if it hurts you then they won't bother you about it. I find that if i smile say and say "thanks! Your so sweet!" and turn around and flip my hair back they just left in awe that it just way just repelled like an arrow on armor.

If i refer to someone as strange..They have to be pretty 'off' for me to refer to them as that. "Strange" for me is not a good thing.
I haven't met too many people that i consider strange, so it all depends on what the person's opinion is that called you strange or what the person did that lead someone to call them strange.
Why did someone call you strange? Don't worry. If someone calls you strange, just remember that's one opinion against more than 10,000 other people.

people are strange when your a stranger but it,s not a bad thing just be yourself!!

Who cares what people think.
Just as people can say things abt another, so can you. Tell them they are no less strange themselves.
Strange or whatever people say about anyone is just a matter of opinion, it is THEIR perception of truth, just as you have opinion of others, it is YOUR opinion of truth.
It doesnt make it a universal truth, or good or bad.
