If your doctor believes it is the right course of action, then you should follow it. When I was prescribed Lexapro, they did need to increase the dosage.
Each person and their dosage is unique, so the medication has to be tweaked sometimes to acheive the best results. You should discuss your desire for pregnancy with your doctor. You are not alone in struggling with needs, so chances are that he has seen a case similar to yours before. Do not be afraid to open up to him; in doing so he will know more about you and be able to determine a successful course of treatment.
I started on 10mg about 2 months ago and I am 100% happier and less anxoious.
If your trying to get pregnant you might want to talk to your doctor first before you go on the medication.
Also you may want to think about taking care of yourself before brining a child in this world you will have trouble taking care ot.
Your doctor knows your situation better than any of us possibly could and if that's their reccommendation it's probably for the best.
I had a nervous breakdown two years ago, went on medication and recovered and now I no longer have to use meds. It's all about taking care of yourself and working through it.
Well have you try threapy i now it cost alot of money. you can call around and see you can quialfy for free counceling. If you want another child if you are relax and don,t think about it .you may have another child. i thought i could not have chidren but one day igot pregnant. have you try to have sex a day before your period thats how i got pegnant.
Get yourself mentally healthy and I think another pregnancy will follow. Technically, you should not be on lexapro if you are planning on becoming pregnant. I would definitely pursue the increase in lexapro for feeling better. I alternate between 10 and 20 mg of laxapro a day, depending on my tiredness level--it seems to increase my tiredness, but the upside is a better outlook. Would be happy to chat offline.
