NEED SOUND, GOOD ADVICE PLEASE!! What am I suffering from?? Thank you!?

Question:
Hello I am having a serious problem ever since I was small but it has progressively gotten worse. The symptoms are as follows:

1. When I was about 14 years old I first noticed that I had to read things over and over just to be able to grasp them. This is especially bad the more technical the writing is. For instance, history and science are very difficult for me. Anything that explains details rather than just simple facts is very difficult for me to read. The following articles are very difficult for me:

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/peptidoglyc...

2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/immunoglobu...

3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/lateral_mal...

I felt sleepy and exhausted after two paragraphs from each article above. My brain started to turn into mishmash and I couldn't absorb any more information. I also tire very easily when jogging for more than 20 seconds or having to do any task at all, physical or mental, for more than a few minutes. Even reading novels tires me.

Answers:
First of all, those articles even made my brain turn to mush. If this is a genuine problem, then maybe you need to be seen for it. You may have a learning disability or a mental disorder. A simpler answer is have you had your eyes checked?
You could possibly have ADD. I would check with your doctor to be sure
You could either be ADD, dyslexic, or have some disease i don't know about. Ask your parent(s) or your doctor. Hopefully one of them can diagnose or test for what it could be.
I would just say that you have A.D.D. for the mental stuff and physically you are not in shape. Start doing excercises for your body like push ups, sit ups, jogging, different stuff like that...and then for the mental side...excercise your brain by doing your best to start memorizing different things. Hope this helps.

Find out what you like in life and go for it. Not everyone is
a brain. Maybe art is your thing. Branch out in life.
Many of us can't digest tech mumbo jumbo I think some people just aren't wired up for it. However, this may have turned out to be a real worry for you over the years and the tiredness maybe a subconscious defensive mechanism to it. Have a talk with your doctor about it and above all - DON'T WORRY OVER IT!!
I can't tell you that, but those articles are very difficult for the average person to comprehend. I'm a very good reader and would need to read those articles several times before it would make any sense to me. Talk to your doctor, it sounds like something is going on. Good luck!
If complex reading matter is difficult for you to get through, maybe you're just not as smart as you think you are. If you tire easily from phyisical activity, maybe you're out of shape and need to work on your stamina. If you get tired reading novels, well I think that's pretty normal--lots of people can only read books a little at a time. It is possible you have ADD but that would mean you have problems reading ALL kinds of material, also, you would have had that problem your whole life, not just suddenly. If you are worried see a doctor, but I really doubt there's anything wrong.
Sounds like you're perfectly normal. Getting bogged down in techno mumbo jumbo is nothing new. I get migraines from reading too much technical crap. Now if I enjoy what I'm reading, then I can read for hours. As far a jogging goes, it sounds like you're out of shape. Welcome to the human race. Stop looking for an excuse for being lazy. Get off your bum and find something that you like to do and excel at it.
I have a little different slant on this. Assuming you've been checked out by a Dr., had blood panel run, etc...Have you considered that you are so worried, maybe subconsciously, that due to your past problems, you may not succed in Med School ? Have you convinced yourself that you can't, and the fast approaching challenge is building up that pressure inside. Subconsciously it might be an excuse for not having to go to Med school. Or maybe it's something you really don't want to do.and your mind is racing to get you to take another look.. Just one thing I didn't see mentioned in the answers...the ways the mind can try to get our attention when something isn't right.be it lies you believe about yourself, but aren't aware of, or doing things we really don't want to...or ?
