Answers:
I had migraines bad, got cured with a shot of botox in back of neck, it parrelized the nerve that triggered migraines, but I to was told it was in my head because they couldn't cure me, until I found a good Dr that tried everything, imitrex was the best temporary fix, botox was a new thing, ins didn't want to cover it, but it cured me. as for the other things, try watching the food you eat, excersise so you don't get arthritis in knees, take vitamins, see if that helps, you're not crazy, they said that to me because they couldn't figure out what was wrong, be proactive, but realistic
Maybe he's talking about Münchhausen's syndrome. You genuinely think you are sick but really aren't. People with Münchhausen's syndrome like the attention that they get from others when they are sick.

Edit: A major part of Münchhausen's syndrome is that people MAKE themselves sick. Whether they know it or not. They purposely do things to make themselves sick so that they will be admitted to the hospital, etc.
fibromyalgia
All I can think of is that you might be a hypochondriac.
hypochondriasis or somataform disorder
A Very Vivid Imagination. Its probably caused by stress. Try and be happier in life. Hope that helps!
maybe just a sissy, suck it up soldier
seasonal schizoeffective disorder, very common, can be treated with vagus nerve stimulation.
That's what doctors tell you when they can't find a cause for your symptoms. They are tired of you and frustrated, so they decide there isn't really anything wrong with you, and they wash their hands of you. They tell you you will just have to learn to live with your symptoms. Sometimes they give you a prescription for a tranquilizer to help you do so and so you'll stop bothering them.

Usually, a few years down the line, a study identifies whatever syndrome or disease you have, and it turns out to be real, after all.
Consider to be more in fresh air, and also walk for20-30 mins a day. Could be a lack of oxygen or natural Vit D.
Have you ever been checked for lupis ?
I understand some of the difficulties in seeing another physician, but you really should look into what you need to do to get a second opinion. At worst, this will verify the diagnosis of the first doctor, and at best put you onto a path to better health.
There are many illnesses that are extremely difficult to diagnose, and physicians (bless them all) can miss things. If the second opinion confirms the first, you'll need to consider seeing a mental health specialist or agency. Sometimes you can help yourself as well by focusing on others a little more, like volunteering at the Red Cross or at the animal shelter.

In any case, best of health to you ... and good luck.
I'm going to try and help you here. Do you do all the right things health wise? eat properly, exercise, drink water, sleep properly? If the answer to those is truly yes, then the next question is - how do you get along with people? Do you have friends, feel loved and supported, have a good attitude to life, have good self esteem? If the answer is truly yes then the next question is - has your doctor taken blood tests and liver function test etc, have you been tested for allergies food/environment? Have you changed Dr. and got a second opinion?
I had a Dr. tell me it was in my head for many years and I believed him. I had allergies. I found an allergy specialist who gave me immunotherapy and fixed me in 3 months. I was angry at my Dr. for all the years I'd continued to suffer for no good reason - I realised I should have changed Dr.
I did have some emotional issues that I was trying to deal with but his careless attitude made it worse.
I think emotional issues stress your body out and make you more susceptible to things. Now I avoid preservatives, sugars & chemicals, drink plenty of water and eat a good diet with fibre to help bowel activity. I know the importance of exercise & sleep. I try to talk about what bothers me and get that off my chest. I still get aches and pains that are unexplained but it's usually when I'm eating badly or not sleeping or something is bothering me.
Take control of your health & life - it's yours and it's up to you.
Listen to your instincts. Emotional issues can affect your general health but it is not necessarily the answer always.
Good luck I hope this will help you in some way.
