Does breast cancer generally hurt?
Question:

My ex girlfriend just had a mastectomy. One day, she started complaining of strange pains in her left arm while she layed on it. Also her left uper body was sore. She went few times to her GP who told her, it was normal if she did housework using her left arm. He sent her back home asking her to take Paracetamol tablets. This lasted 6 month.
She never thaught any of it safe the pain came and went. One day, having a shower, she noticed her left nipple was slightly gone in. She went again to her GP who told her it might always have been that way, she never noticed before. Then, after a while, she noticed a hardness just behind her nipple. She went again to her GP but was seen by a temp, replacement who sent her straight to X-ray. There she was told of advenced breast cancer. The rest, you can guess !
Thanks to a magnificiant imbecile of a GP who never even bother to say "Sorry"
According to my doctor - No.
guess so
I think most diseases that kill you hurt.
when they cut it out it will
mentally or physically? physically my mum said that the cancer didn't hurt but the surgery does (or at least the recovery).
Mentally would be a yes i would guess, but not being a woman i'm not the best person to ask
Nope you won't even notice it's there well untill its a massive tumour and spreads and really starts effecting your body but you wouldn't notice a cancer lump in your breast that easily cos it doesn't hut it does hurt once they operate to remove it and the therapies that you have to go through to make sure its completly gone and won't return hurt alot and really drain you.
A cancerous breast lesion can be sore to the touch but otherwise be painless.
If the cancer goes undetected and spreads, it can invade places where it can become excruciatingly painful.
Terminal cancer, whatever the form, grows in pain intensity as the end approaches.
Let us hope and pray that you haven't got it or ever have to find out.
When cancer starts to hurt, you are in TROUBLE! Get to the GP NOW!
generally cancer lumps in your breast do not hurt, if any lump hurts it is usually a cyst
