See your doc, and request some meds; better living through chemistry.
I think the best way to fight depression is to look at the brighter side of things, or just to love who you are, what you have, and know that everything you have gone through has made you stronger.
I was the same way , the doctor put me on paxil cr, and I feel so much better!!! its been four years.
i have boarderline personality disorder its not the same ad depression but i get depressed alot. I've been on every med they didnt help me but they mite help you. You should find someone to talk to like a thearpist and defiately find someone maybe like a family member or friend, tho that will be hard bc they wont be able to understand it unless they have it to. If you need to talk i'm here. I no depression is not a one answer type of thing so if u wanna talk to someone who knows what it is like just email me bloodnpurity@yahoo.com. And definately see a dr and talk talking does help i find writeing my feelings helps me.

best way to fight depression is to keep yourself busy! watch comedy on tv, colour, play with legos or toys, go out with friends, get two jobs, cook!
the only way to fight depression is not to cry, hold in your tears what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Medication, therapy, and bio-feedback. Bright colors, and sunshine. believe it not more people are depressed in the winter and at night. Dark rooms don't help either. If you are against medications, then to cheer up, again brightness, daylight, sunshine, and not least, music! whatever your favorite music is, it actually helps change your moods. having a friend or family is a BIG help or a shoulder to lean on, but when not available, the bible, or a good self-help book could help too. good luck- and I use medications and do all the above, it has kept me going for years, instead of "why me" think of all the poor people suffering in places who can't get help, it makes us thankful for what resources we have. ask your GP and get his/her take on what is best, you may need the medication, depends on how bad it is? you could also have a hormone in-balance, too much estrogen can cause lots of crying. need lab test for that. take care. hun its a part of life that sucks but go see a shrink and they will help you threw this
Know that God has more for your future..brighter days than the darkness that's in depression. Go see a psychologist if you must to get a medication that will curve the depression. The Dr. should also be able to tell you of any support groups in your area, or near you. Try checking at your Hospital or Community Health Department..they should have something to offer as support.
Go to church..visit some churches and find the one that's right for you. There's a lot of hope in Spiritual Healing from the Lord. "Greater is Jesus in you than he that is in the world" That means that God is still in control and stronger than anything that would come against you. Peace be upon you in Jesus name.

Depression can be caused by a chemical imbalance. It's not a character flaw, it's like having diabetes. Go to a doctor and see about medication. Don't suffer.

Also, most depressions will clear up on their own with time. Excercise will help increase your "feel good" chemicals, like seratonin. But still, go see about medication.
Jesus loves you more than you can imagine.
