What do you think about lexapro??
Question:
Thanks
Answers:
I had a very good experience on it. Few side effects, notably difficulty orgasming and nauseous stomach, though the nausea wasn't bad if I ate something small with it, like a granola bar. For the first 7 to 10 days or so, it seemed like I had some temper problems, but it passed quickly after that point. I find Lexapro to be a very good antidepressant, as well, because it helps curb anxiety some, as well, and they're really closely related.
My entire run on it, I also had very vivid, sometimes bizarre dreams. They weren't always nightmares, and didnt affect my level of rest significantly. But the dreams, as I said, were very vivid, and very easy to remember.
I have a problem that very few antidepressants work on me, they usually turn me into zombies suffering from medicinal side effects. Lexapro worked quite well, however. I wish you the best on it! Still, if you notice any extreme behavioral changes, go back to your doctor immediately.
It seems to be working for my boyfriend but one of the side effects is you can't orgasm.

I took it last year for about a week made me crazy. Arms numb etc. i threw it out the car window.
if you take too much, like the doctor prescribes too much of a dose youl get pissed real easy
I think it's a good drug, personally. It's alot better than shooting myself, which is how "dark" my life became! But it does take a couple weeks to "kick in". And the first couple week could be doozies! I was very fatigued, nauseas alot, and a little more anxious than usual. I think the anxiousness comes from us doing something about our mood disorder finally. We tend to, or I did, think about it 24/7. But the upside is, and there is one!.you will slowly start feelin' calmer, more content in your self. Two weeks of Yuk, for alot of happiness ahead! Not a bad trade!
It's done wonders for me and the only side effect I get is withdrawal. If I don't take it for a day and a half, I get dizzy and irritable. Anti depressants work differently person to person, so your mileage may vary. Just be sure to get in touch with your doctor if things go weird on you.
