Any one know of free or cheap mental help..?

Question:
I'm divorced, out of work due to an auto accident, still up to date on child support, my kids always need money from me, and she has moved my kids farther away from me, to a bigger house that I believe I am paying for.
I haven't worked since Dec 06, due to an auto accident. Money is tight and I have to barrow to pay support.
I'm suicidal, depressed, I just want to end the pain.
Any one know where I can get some help.

Answers:
Jesus or Budah depending on your preference...personally i think Budahs big jolly belly could really relive your depression
try 'upmc for you',, thats what its called i dont know if its just for kids or what but im 18 and get everything for free
go to your normal dr. and tell him how you feel and see if he can recommend someone!!
OK. You can be your own therapist.

Can't getter cheaper than that.

There is a whole bunch to help you at
http://themeaningisyou.com.
Usually there is some state-sponsored and funded mental health clinic nearby, no matter where you are. If you have a phone book to look up government agences and services, look under the name of your state. Or call a local hospital and ask for the number of the free or sliding-scale fee place.
there should be a local community mental health center that you can go to in order to receive services. they base the amount that is charged for services upon the individual's income and ability to pay
This is the hotline for the National Mental Health association.

This website will give you 24 hour crisis lines in your state (toll free) just to talk to someone if you have not yet found a local facility: http://mentalhealth.samhsa.gov/hotlines/...

It is true that every state has help available thru the Department of Mental Health for people who need someone to talk to . Their services are always on a sliding scale, based on your ability to pay.

It's not uncommon to feel depressed when the world seems to be handing you a raw deal. However, I don't think you can fairly blame your ex (a bigger house that I believe I am paying for) for the circumstances in your life. The law is set up for the children, and the amount you pay is set by state standards which are believed to be fair. I do believe that the law will allow you some exceptions since she has moved and thus increased your costs in seeing your children. When you get back on your feet, you need to check this out.

In the meantime, you need to talk to someone on a crisis line now! Check the website I gave and get the number for your state. Why your state? Because these people will be better prepared to help you find help and services you need thru programs your state offers.

How do you think your children would feel if you killed yourself? Children often blame themselves! Do you really want to lay that on your children? If you have to pay her 1/2 of what you owe her till you get back to work, that is what you should do. You can make up for it a little at a time when Iyou are working again.

Do talk to someone, even if you are not prepared to make an appt right now. Just talking to them, seeing what your options are, will help. There may be programs out there you may not be aware of for various types of assistance (food stamps, etc).

Keep your chin up, and please know, that this too shall pass.
This is a testing time, and you will be a stronger person when you are finished.

Best of luck!
