Why do I get hyper from drinking Sunkist? Or just hyper?
Question:
Answers:
I really don't think you have a disorder, it's probably the ingredients in the Sunkist soda.
It could be the caffeine in it. Sunkist orange soda has a lot of caffeine in it, (40 milligrams of caffeine compared to 37 in Pepsi). Also Sunkist, like a lot of other sodas, contains HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) which can have negative affects on the heart rate and metabolism. You could also be affected by the dyes or other additives in it because a lot of people have sensitivities to these things and don't realise it.
I'd suggest you steer clear of this type of drink and instead try drinking more natural things like bottled water, iced tea or lemonade. Take care :)
Sunkist has alot of sugar and caffeine in it.

Too much sugar?
too much sugar ? not enough water ?
Could be the sugar. Orange drinks are loaded with them. I used to get really shaky after drinking orangeade or orange juice.
Cut them out and se if you feel better.
oh dear u could b VERY hyperactive or allergic 2 it.
i suggest a STRICT NO-SUGAR diet for abt 2 wks or so then monitor ur sitaution.ask some1 2 help u 2 watch ur sugar intake.dun take cola n candy.
Caffine is a drug and that gets you going quicker than any other upper drug. So go with a drink that has no caffine in it.
Stop drinking Sunkist, dear.
Problem solved.
