Why do I hear voice when I'm tired?

I'm super paranoid when I'm in my room.
I'm the with the sole purpose person surrounded by my house on this one side, and its right by the door.
We have neighbors who enjoy tried to break in, so I've developed this paranoia of robbers and the such.
And consequently I get unexpected, creepy feelings, usually when my restrained is off (its pitch black as I own no window) mainly because I get the impression so vulnerable.
Anywho, sometimes when its subdued I'll be laying within thinking and I'll have close to what I call "inner thoughts" close to you know when you imagine a conversation youve have with someone previously in the afternoon and you can "hear" it in your mind, capably I'll hear like, small clips from movies or something, or newly, sometimes random words, and population saying things.
Im aware that its merely in my commander and not real, so I at least possible have a firm grasp on truth.
Is this normal?
Its not approaching I'm seeing anything, I'm very aware of my surroundings, but could human being freaked out enough as it is enjoy anything to do with it?
Does anyone else do this?
