Help! Severe anxiety/depersonalization... and Panic ??


Question:
I have had all three for 6 years. Lately, I can't even go to the movies without going nuts. My chest hurts all the time, heart races, sometimes it will feel as if my heart stops for a second, I will get sudden waves of panic in my chest, can't breathe,
I have this feeling that lightening is going from my heart to my brain every once in a while, and I have constant tension headaches. These have been constant for 3 months. I've had 2 trips to the emergency room, but every lung xray, EKG, and blood test shows up fine. I am currently seeing a cognitive behavioral therapist, but are these signs of panic? and, after 6 years of depersonalization, how do you just ACCEPT it? It feels like its getting worse! Or, do you think there's something else wrong with me.I'm 25, this just isn't fair! Any advice would be great?

a behavioralist can provide limited services, but sounds like you need more,
medication will help you overcome anxiety attacks because it'll teach your mind/body that it can experience life without freaking out and you will see that it can be done while you're learning other ways to respond to the triggers
Lightening waves in your head sounds like Neaurolgia.Have you been tested for that?You need meds for panic dissorder...Try Ceelexa and Seriquil.
have you talked with your CBT? because these sure sound like anxiety symptoms to me. I haven't gotten my certification yet but do know from personal experience that CBT works! Keep it up and try to find a soothing hobby. My favorite is crocheting and/or knitting. Keeping my hands busy helps keep my mind static and that helps keep the anxiety down! Good luck and remember to journal, journal, journal...even if it is only one sentence per time...keep writing...
hi, I suffered from anxiety,depression and panic attacks most of my life.I turned to alcohol.It was at best short term relief. a doctor prescribed zoloft. While not a miricle it has turned my life around. It helps to even out your highs and lows I take 100mg daily and can go out in public without too much worry. hope you get better.
I'm suffering from anxiety and panic attacks too I'm also seeing a cognitive behavioral therapist and pretty much have had every test done EKG bloods all clear.
I don't think we should except it we weren't always like this so we don't have to be like this forever I'm feeling alot better I'm doing the therapy along with using a self hypnosis CD which i must say is helping so much i also drink chamomile tea which helps me stay calm Im considering seeing a dietician as this is supposed to help also
Also yoga and massage is great exercise helps you naturally release your happy hormones and yoga is very peaceful and alot more relaxing than other exercise it also helps you to relax and message helps your circulation and boosts your nervous system etc and again helps you relax
Also walking helps alot just getting out improves you state of mind which is crucial
Im going to see how all that goes and then if all else fails ive been told the linden method id good ive tryed panic away and it wasnt for me( thats not to say it wont work for you) and fair play to them they refunded me fully

sounds like ur paranoid man, but dont worry im the same way.. im 16.. and right now im just seeing a physcologist. but yea whenever i am driving by myself or anywhere when im not with friends or people i like to be around i get nervous and cant control myself, i have to always look around, i can never just walk and keep my head straight and look straight ahead of me. and people notice my anxiety and stuff too sometimes, but its life, most people accept it and dont care.just think no worries.
