klonopin! becuz it just gets the job done...slow on, slow off, so the effects sort of linger for me, and the chance of getting addicted to these are slightly less than other benzo's...didnt get too many side effects, the first time i was just alittle off balance but after a day that was gone...really balanced out my mood..
I am epileptic but have only had a few siezures in my life, i was given ativan only to take if i had another siezure but never used it, kolonopin i took when i was a kid, younger than 13, now i am 24 and had been on carbatrol for little over two years but no longer take it.
I dont honestly remember any side effects from kolonopin but i know you can OD on it
since i have been on both at one time or another .. this is a tough one to answer
they both are good for certain things, ativan makes me more sleepy and helps with insomnia. klonopin is good in the fact that it reduced my panic attacks and keeps my mood stable.
in the end .. klonopin gets my vote
They're both addictive & not effective. I hate Benzos. They always make you want more.
Hi hun! I was on Ativan and Kolonopin, neither one of them helped me, so I was only on them a short time maybe a month. I don't take any benzos, because my doctor does not want me to get hook on any, and I agree with him. I'm on meds but I can be weened off them if i need too. This is good! They are very similar. I was told Klonipin lasts longer.
I like 'em both. But I only use a very minute dose occasionally.
