Ok no seems to be answering my question citalopram or remeron?

Question:
which one of these is best 40mg citalopram or 15 mg remeron and which one has teh least chance of making me act like a zombie during the day?

Answers:
Go with the citalopram (Celexa). Remeron is notorious for its sedative effects (not to mention significant weight/appetite gain). Some docs have taken to prescribing Remeron solely for its "side effect" of drowsiness.
There is no best. It is what works for YOU the best with the least amount of side effects. Everyone reacts to these meds differently so there is no way anyone can say which one is best.
you haven't been answered, because no one else has your answer. we each of us respond differently to different meds, no two people are alike. the best you can do, is try one, and if you don't like the side effects or it doesn't work, then try the other.
You should be asking your doctor about it.

I mean, it's good to go prepared...but when it comes down to it, you should be discussing prescriptions with the person who'll be doing the prescribing. It's important to bring these issues up with your health care professionals.

Besides...I don't know. I haven't taken either one. Don't get angry if people haven't taken every single med out there...yes, mentally ill people usually wind up taking a lot of different things, but we don't always take EVERY med available.
try going to this site called medline plus,i go there alot to read up on my meds,i do hope things work out for you ,for mental issues are not good , i just say your question, and i do hope you feel better
