I am really depressed and hate being depressed?
Question:
Answers:
I found when I was really low and depressed - that everything went downhill.
My housework went to pot - everywhere was clutteredI hated my job and felt totally worthless.
Here was my tonic! I avoided the Drs as I didn't want to be on anti depressants.
I got a new job! I love it and am really happy there
I'm in the process of decluttering - at least a dustbin liner full of stuff is going to either charity shops/friends or for throwing out every week.
I've coloured my hair - Given myself a manicure - and I'm going to tackle my weight problem.
I'm making time to feel better about my appearance - and in return I am feeling a bit more positive.
I still don't have the confidence or desire to go out to pubs - but truthfully - one of the biggest things I've done that has helped - that I would never have believed would. I'm not spending as much time on the computer.
Switch your computer off - go and have a bath - do your hair - nails - face etc and then start going through your wardrobes - and anyone elses in your family (only hubby and kids - not parents or siblings) throw out anything you don't like - or is getting scruffy - its amazing how it perks you up!
Good luck

i used to be depressed a lot my freshman year of highschool. my sophomore year i realized i was doing it for a guys attention because that's pretty much the only way i could get his attention. it's like a lightbulb went on in my head. i hated being depressed and people didn't like it when i was either. so i decided it was stupid and i don't let myself get into a depressed mood anymore. if i ever feel myself drifting into the depths of depression now i do something to get myself out of it. think of a good memory. call a friend. do something you really like (a hobby - for me it's dancing).
hope that helps! :D
smile!
Cheer up yourself. You're not the only who is depressed. READ the Bible.
Hi, I think you should seek professional help if you're feeling like that all the time. You should find out why you're feeling this way. To help, maybe doing yoga and meditation. You should try to stop the thoughts going through your head. Push them away do not feed them. I Hope this help!
I know how you feel. I am working through my depression as well. I went to a doctor after talking to friends of mine and family that told me it would be for the best. Yes, medication is not the answer for everyone or everything, however it has helped me function more "normally" for everyday life. There are many ways for cheering yourself, but you have to be willing to pull yourself out of bed or off the couch to do something about it. Sometimes getting out and going for a walk helps. Exercise releases endorphins that tell your brain to be happy. With depression, you usually tend to be stationary and don't eat or you might overeat, which is not good either. Call your friends, have a little get together at someone's place; just not yours. Look through old pictures of friends and family and look at what you have around you to help you and guide you through this spat of depressed feelings. Money is a big thing these days and it's hard to hold on to. However, there are many things around you that you might not be aware of that are free and you don't have to go far. If you are an artist, go somewhere seren and draw, paint, sketch. Think of who you are internally, and it will guide you to do things that interest you without spending money.
why are you depressed??
it is the mind try to think in positive ways
do positive things
be around positive people
sounds like money is one your problems well think we are well some are haveing more ruff then others sometime we hit are low to be stronger
if all was negative how would we know what the better was if all was all bad how would we know the differant to know is is the better so mind wise we learn to apreachate the good and bad they need the both to balance out life as chinese people say yin and yang a all positive will not start a car nor will all negative the battery cable has to have both to run such as life
time to cry to to laugh time to be sad time to rejoy's so think the positives life will be life and go with the flow this may not cheer you up but give you some advice
If you are always down then it sounds as though you are clinically depressed - this mens the seratonin levels in your brain are low.
You can get tablets from your doctor that will help to balance you.
Exercise increase seratonin levels naturally - so you could try going for a two mile run every day.
Chocolate raises levels in some people too.
My suggestions try the run. then relax with a bar of chocolate reading the jokes and riddles section.
Look on the positive side of life - appreciate what is good. Remember - the glass is half full - not half empty.
If this fails then see your doctor.
go work out at the gym.
It wakes the whole body up!!
You then want to eat healthy.
Healthly eating leads to better lifestyle
you will start to smile again x
