Answers:
As this question has come to your mind, I am sure you know the answer. Only trouble is you keep on forgetting your stand at the spark of smallest flame.

Keep on concious trying.
Keep pictures of your childhood good memories in front of you always - on the working dest, one the bed side table etc.
Keep a bold note on your desk saying
"THERE IS NO SHORT CIRCUIT BETWEEN MY BRAIN AND TOUNGUE"

or

"A MATCH BOX HAS A HEAD BUT NO BRAIN, SO IT FLARES UP WITH A SMALL FRICTION. WE HAVE A HEAD AND BRAIN AS WELL !!"
try lorazepam
meditate
HOW THE HELL DO I KNOW?! YOU ARE ASKING THE WRONG PERSON!!
Just decide you aren't going to be. Your mind can be trained to do many things.
avoid caffeine, stay away from drugs and alcohol, eat more greens, punch a punching bag, remove yourself from the situation that makes you angry, have plenty of alone time and think before you react.
Make some sport, and don't think about what gets you angry. Make your mind (and/or body) busy (music, tv, video games, books...). Find something positive you can extract from what makes you angry.
Could be hormone related. a complete check up and hormone level screening might show you that is is a physical problem..(to much testosterone)
just wait for a few minutes before u react at anything violently. give urself some time to calm down and think about the situation. ask urself what will be the best reasonable thing u can do.
