Bottom line is chill out. Think of something you like when your having the attack to calm you down. Try to keep your mind on good things when your panicing. Dont focus on what made you freak, think of something else.
Greetings! You may have something in the way of a chemical imbalance. Not anything catastrophic, but sometimes we need some help to get us to function right.
My advice for you is to see your doctor and get a referral to
a psychiatrist.
Many people get spooked with mental health professionals. They really can help you, if nothing more than sorting out your emotions. They can help you understand your world and your situations. If you do have an imbalance, that can be addressed. Good luck to you.
It would take a 'full mental health evaluation' to be able to tell you why you are having these panic attacks and to find a way to help you 'stop them' ... I'm sorry that you are 'in distress.' Try doing some 'meditation' (5 minutes, 5 times a day), sitting 'comfortably' with your back straight, both feet on the floor, hands on 'closed' knees, feet together. Take 5 deep breaths (count to 10 in, 15 out) then close your eye and think of a 'quiet beautiful place' like a meadow in the woods, or a beach at sunset, for five minutes, and end with five more 'deep breaths.
PLEASE GO FOR A MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION. I'm not saying that you are 'insane' only that you have an 'extreme psychological condition' and may need to be put on medication and/or therapy until you can get past this 'bad time' in your life.
Try to figure out which particular stressor triggers your panic attack. For example: work problems, emotional problems, over worked, noise. Then think of this that makes you calm such as deep breathing, talking to yourself ...(it works), taking a warm bath...or listening to soothing musics or watching a favorite show or movie...There are others out there that won't require medications to help relive you of the panic attacks. On other hand, if it is a person who intimidates you or makes you feel bad. Try telling the person how you feel.
If these dosen't work. Consult a pshyciatrist. Your last resort
It does have something to do with stress. Are you on any
medication? Prayer helps too.
Try to practice slow and relaxed breathing techniques so that whenanother one comes on you can be prepared. Also check with a Dr. about an as needed drug for calming such as Klonipin, Valium, or Xanax.
get a psychiatrist and a counsellor and they can help you.
Learn relaxation techniques. Try the meditations of QiQong.

Also, Our thoughts really affect us so make sure to keep them inline. Learn some affirmations to tell yourself in anxiety situations. A little, "It will be okay" does wonders. Even if it's not much, at-least it's taking the place of the bad thoughts you could be thinking.
