I know of a lot of people who have had side effects from bupropion (Wellbutrin), but it's worked wonders for me. Talk to your doctor regularly, especially when starting new antidepressants. The lucky thing is that there are so many treatments for depression—different classes of drugs to work on different neurotransmitters (most commonly serotonin and dopamine), innumerable psychotherapy options, spiritual/religious solutions, died and exercise plans, and probably more things than I can list.
Good luck! I found a great therapist and combination of drugs and have learned a lot about myself and though I still have depressive episodes, I've come a long way.
Yes it was my boss that had me get off it I bacame careless & my hand eye coordination prospective just wasnt right --She noticed the difference in me. & demanded I get off it right then & tell the dr the next time I saw him. He hadn't heard of it but said it was possible-I knew it was. I was the one experiencing it & for my boss of 6yrs to notice it was real. There are other drugs if u r not doing well get off it

I have been on Wellbutrin for a few years and switched to the generic. I didn't notice any side effects from either.
Welbutrin caused me to have seizures. My husband has taken it for years with no bad side effects. Everyone reacts differently to drugs. If you have problems that you suspect are caused by this medication you should talk to your doctor.
