Anyone know anything about ataxophobia?

From what you write it seems that its your hubby, not you, who's got a problem and im afraid not much can be done UNTIL HE DECIDES to get the matters sorted (together with other underlying psychological issues)
try googling the word to find some info on the issue- and maybe do some printouts and leave them somewhere he can see- so that you could try and talk to him about the help available
you can also try talking to your/ his gp about it and enquire about possbile councelling/ CBT (congnitive-behavioural therapy) etc
there's only that much you can do to help him- and/or make him happy. at the end of the day the decision is his whether or not to avail of help- hopefully you'll be able to guide him in the right direction
good luck & take care
this might be his scapegoat- does he really have a problem, or is he just finding an excuse to divorce you? otherwise- really make an effort to keep things in order because you know how bad it bothers him.
