Too scared to interview tomorrow?
Question:
Answers:
A lot of employers overstate the qualifications in hopes of getting the best possible candidates. Unless it requires some type of licensure you don't posess, I would say go for it.
The worst that could happen is that they don't hire you. Not a big deal. If they don't, it will be a good learning and practicing
experience.
I think you should go.It will be really hard for you as your so nervous about it but everyone will be feeling the same.Try not to let it get to you and try to prepare what you want to say.
You will feel really proud of yourself when you come out of the interview, even if you dont get the job.
Good Luck!
I always find interviews as a learning process and I like meeting new people (even if you never see them again).
If you really feel against it, call and cancel the interview, no big deal.
Look at an interview like this - Its simply a conversation with a stranger. Just be yourself and they will determine if you're qualified. Don't overthink it. If they don't hire you, you'll probably never see them again.
What do you have to lose if you keep the interview appointment and simply be honest about your qualifications -- and that includes your strengths as well as whatever shortcomings you think you have. I'll bet your self-awareness and honesty will be something they haven't seen much of in their recruiting and interviewing. Go for it! Just be yourself, OK?
i often get quite nervous before i interview also and my b/f gave me the best advice... Remember the Fonz from happy days? he said act like Fonz. if you go in and your cool and collected helps alot. employers like seeing that u person is confindent give it a try
Go. What is the worst that can happen? Detention, emergency surgery on your spleen, a slap to the face, some stranger laughing in your face?
Yeah, it can be scary, but in the end, you may be rewarded for going.
Go ahead, get up and go to the closet. Choose something appropriate for tomorrow. You'll do fine-yes, someone may do better, and someone else may do worse...just go.
OK?
I can understand how you feel, but some things are just worth the risk. Maybe everyone else that applied is under-qualifed also, you never know! Go for it and good luck!
Hi. I think you may be going at this with the wrong attitude for success. Imagine if you were the one doing the interviewing...what sort of things would you be looking for.and then try your very best to be that. Sit up straight..dress nice...speak as intelligently as you can...make eye contact and keep thinking...I am the best one for this job and I KNOW, not think, but KNOW I am the one they need. Positive attitude makes a huge, huge difference. Good luck and I hope you get the job!
Try prothonolol, my psychiatrist told me about it,and he said it was for anxious and nerveracking moments, slows down your heart rate, so you dont nearly get as nervous as you would be.
ask your doctor.
other then that, good a good nights sleep,, take a hot shower, or bath, make sure to get enough sleep and dont sleep in. Breathing excersises help alot to.
Dont worry you will do great!
