I am terrified of the dark. I don't know why either. I can be in the dark outside and I'll be fine but when I'm in a room I tend to get scared. I sleep with a Glade nightlight.
I'm not afraid of the dark but I like the light on in he hallway anyway..I'm just used to that from when I was little.
ME! lol i'm 17 tho. and i have to sleep with this wierd sound machine that sounds like a staticy tv...ive had it since i was born and it used to be pearl white, now its all yellow, lol & when my boyfriend spends the night he's always making fun of me.

You will only be scared of the dark while you don't accept the light.
I know, sounds stupid. Think about it, know that light fills every cell in our being.
He shouldn't laugh! I love the dark but I have other fears and I deal with them my way. Hasn't he got some too?

Yeah...especially when I am alone!! Or If I've just watched a scary film and have to turn the lights out before I go up to bed.try running up the stairs - quietly - it's V hard!hehehe

When Im alone, I get scared of the dark...
i'm afraid of what might be in the shadows. i don't like shadowy corners and shadows underneath things. and i believe in ghosts, which doesn't help.
I used to be when i was little... But I got over that by saying every night to miself : " It's just me and my family inside... No one else... The door is locked...No one will get in.. Ghosts do not exist..." :)))
No...not now.
When I was younger, I use to be afraid if I knew someone who had just died. I would sleep with the lights on for fear that their spirit would come to visit me.
