SSI Hearing Help?
Question:
I approve the fee agreement between the claimant and his or her representative subject to the condition that the claim results in past-due benefits.
My determination is limited to whether the fee agreement meets the statutory conditions for approval and is not otherwise excepted. I neither approve nor disapprove any other aspect of the agreement.
Decision
Based on the Title XVI application for Supplemental Security Income field on November 20. 2002, the clamant has been disabled under section 1614(a)(3)(A) of Social Security Act since November 20, 2002.
The component of the Social Security Administration responsible for authorizing supplemental security income will advise the claimant regarding the non-disability requirements for these payments, and if eligible, the amount and the months for which payments will be made.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU GOT APPROVED YEA!!!!!!!
It states you have met the medical conditions for SSI the NON medical conditions would mean income of any nature. You should be getting a large check of which your lawyers fee will be withheld from it and the balance paid to you. I had the same thing for SSDBI, my lawyer and I were supposed to go to the Administrative law Judge for my case, but the Judge made the decision without us there. I WON.. You did TOO!
"the clamant has been disabled under section 1614(a)(3)(A) of Social Security Act since November 20, 2002." Sounds like it. Yet I find this disturbing "will advise the claimant regarding the non-disability requirements for these payments". It reminds me of when I was too ill to work, and couldn't collect unemployment until I was better and able to work. It was a requirement that I be "ready, willing and able to work." Call your lawyer as it sounds ambiguous to me. P.S. The date you gave for your Hearing, July 27, 2007, hasn't happened yet. - Bunny
