Question:
I am a recent college grad., I have applied to more than 60 jobs. I would get interviews but no job. My aunt suggested who I am very close to suggested that I use her as a reference so that it would appear that I have work experiance which I don't really have because I just graduated. The other day a great opportunity came up for an awesome company, i interviewed, they loved me, they wanted references I gave them her number. That same day they called her house where I live for now and I overheard her giving me a "terrible reference", she said "you don't want to hire her, it will be boring for and she is not reliable". Least to say I did not get the job.Why did she purposefully sabotage the greatest opportunity of my life?!?!? This is a person who appeared to support me my entire life She does not have a fulltime job, no friends, ect. and I have found out that she has been stoping me from several opportunities, even joining a church that I love(sent a bad letter to my pastor about me)

Okay she does have issues. But this one is on you. Remember you started this in motion with your lie. Put the blame where it belongs. When you do finally get a job consider moving out.
Wow! What a cucking funt. She is probably jealous of you, or has some vendetta against your mom (dad?)...try contacting the human resources of that company with a letter stating that your family member has abused your trust in her, and betrayed you--give an alternate reference...
Never talk to her again, and tell the entire family what she has been doing to you.
Good luck!
You really need to take this up with her.
I can't imagine when someone is that close to you, and you are very ambitious (which is a good thing), why they would do such a thing.
That is terrible.
You need to find out what her problem is.
And remove her from your references ;)
wow wat a b!tch u need to f**k her up
I would definitely address this issue with her. There has to be a reason that she did it - jealousy, fear of you leaving her, etc. that would cause her to act in this irrational fashion.
Learn from your mistakes. Don't use her name as a reference. Don't let her talk you out of the things you want to and enjoy doing.
