Well, this is a subjective question so I can't be anything but subjective in answering.
My own personal beliefs say the soul is immortal. We're all going to be in this universe in some form or another forever. You might be able to 'sleep' for awhile, but you'll soon realize you're still in the game.
I've felt this way before, so many times. And while I don't really think there is a 'hell' or that people are punished indefinitely for causing their own death, it seems kind of pointless from my perspective if you're just going to be reincarnated in another body. Why not enjoy the ride and watch it unfold the way it was supposed to?
And while I can feel a bit frustrated with my humanity at times...there must have been a reason why I was born one. I'm probably here to experience something in this body, something that can change me for the better.
