Does watching comedy films reduce anger and stress?
Question:
Answers:
Laughter does reduces at least four of neuroendocrine hormones associated with stress response. These are epinephrine, cortisol, dopac and growth hormone. Clinical studies also have shown that humor strengthens the immune system in which I have read in a health magazine. And lot of people are familiar with the fact that laughing helps to lower blood pressure, and triggers the release of endorphins, the body's natural pain killers. I hope this answers your question. :)
One would think that it would and it has been talked about by the mental heath profession and I like comedies and I think it helps. It might just be a personal thing though.
Yes it does. U get to laugh and have fun and you'll forget about all about your stress and anger
Definitely.. has been shown scientifically. Especially note the second article which discusses anger and stress specifically.
Laughter is the best medicine in the whole world.
It takes you away, if even for a few minutes,it lets you re-focus on happier days.
It is a wonderful stress and anger manager.thank you for asking.
I would think so. Anything to help you laugh and get into a better mood should work.
Laughing, smiling, giggling, fellowship, spreading cheer by coming up with a some clean fun.. : )
I don't know that *all* comedy reduces anger and stress because some of it is just weird but for the most part I think it's healthy because laughing is healthy. I think it also proves writers have put some genuine effort into handing out some sunshine and the proof being people don't just sit there starring at the screen applying every negative act to their own life.instead they do what is natural and laugh.
You betcha! Anything that gives lotsa good-natured laughter; induces a feeling of well-being that's good for you. As for me, life without humor wouldn't be worth a flip! Look around you! ...movies aren't the only source.
I think it does, I've noticed that effect on myself.
