Is it normal for one side of your face to be different than the other side?

Question:
The nerve routing seems to be different on the two sides of my face; totally different sensations on two sides when I smile (crooked). Could it be due to the fact that I chew with one side of my jaw all the time? Or do I have to consult a neural surgeon?

Answers:
i think it might be normal but then again depending on how serious it is you might have a nerve problem. I have the sleepy eye problem on my right side where my right eye is slightly lower than the left. If you smile 'crooked' then you should contact a neural surgeon but only after you post your picture online so we can take a look to see if your smile is truly crooked
Everyone has two "different " sides of there face.. when one side is covered up... try it you will be amazed in the differences. By chewing on one side you would build the muscles differently... but the nerve sensations.. might be normal or might not be. Any other symptoms... pointing to slight stroke? Ask your doctor next time you go in.
