Get involved politically. Find out which candidates support legislation which will result in better preventive programs as well as better remediation.
Volunteer at a local shelter.

Anybody who doesn't feel badly for them has no heart. It's so sad that adults can treat children so badly, makes me mad too.

Pictures of young children being put on the radioator to stop them from crying is so nasty and horrible, The parents are cruel and sick and retarded.I just wish it would all stop. full stop. x :( but im should that we could help :).
you will find even abusers feel bad for the kids they are abusing and when they see it on tv they will state how they should be shot and so forth so feeling bad is common but the one i liked was there saying if you feel that way go and try and help get better laws and do things in the area to help the kids going though it

Yes. It is terrible. And what is worse it that the abuse the children suffer continue to effect their lives forever. Most children coming from abusive households have trust issues, relationship issues, and all kinds of work issues. They have a hard time functioning in society.
The majority of people in jail were abused as children.
The sad thing is that not ENOUGH is done to protect children today. Even the Foster Care system sucks.
