Depressed and talk to adult?
Question:

Just open your mouth and speak..let that person know exactly what you are dealing with and how you are feeling. Most of the time it helps if the person you are talking to is familiar with you and what you are dealing with. Then, when you've had your say be courteous and open enough to (at least try) listen to any response,or ideas that your friend has to say.
Another thing, don't wait until you feel like you are beyond help to talk to this trusted adult....the sooner you admit to your problem and situation..the sooner you will be able to get to professional help if you and your friend feel that it is necessary.
say everything that you feel because keeping them in won't solve any problems. since they are a trusted adult, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
not trying to sound sarcastic here, but... the truth

Just go up to them and say "I HATE MYSELF AND WANT TO DIE". That's a good ice-breaker.
Hi Taylor, glad that you are reaching out for help. You could say you are "just not feeling happy and you don't know why." "need some help to sort things out"
Many things could cause you to feel the way you do besides your hormones. Lack of sleep, bitchy friends, criticism, not getting enough exercise, not feeling accepted or loved. It's the things around us and how we react to them.
You could try keeping a journal - when you read back you will see what you were thinking & feeling. There are always ways to get back on track. good wishes from me to you.
