How long do long-term relationships last? How long does a relationship enjoy to be to be considered long-term? At what age do people usually own their first long-term relationship? How many of those do relatives usually have per decade and per energy?
I have a friend beside borderline personality disorder. She have never been contained by a relationship that lasted longer than a year, and she is 37 years weak.

Answers:    My first 'serious' relationship was when I be 19 and it lasted 10 months. I'm not sure it would be considered long occupancy as it was smaller quantity than a year long but we lived together and it was drastically intense. I was next to my ex fiance for 4.5 years, which I definitely consider a long residence relationship. I'm now surrounded by my third year of a relationship that I am hoping will last forever. Amongst my friends, the average go span for a long term relationship is give or take a few 7 years, with serious relationships range from 2.5 years to over 20. I have three friends next to BPD. All of them have be in at tiniest one relationship that was over 3 years. In certainty two of them have be married with kids so I don't know if your friends insufficiency of long term relationships is down to her disorder. It could be that she simply doesn't want to settle down and there is nil wrong with that,as long as she is jubilant. If she isn't happy near the state of her love life and BPD is within part responsible, later that's something I think she would involve to talk to a psychotherapist about. I know it can be difficult for someone next to BPD to form longstanding stable relationship but it is not impossible.
