I feel it is time to take either 3mg of melatonin or 50mg of diphenhydramine (generic Benadryl). Benadryl is the exact same thing they put in Tylenol PM for sleep. Melatonin is just that, but it causes depression if you've already fought it off before. I am not a doctor, but prescriptions are not an option unless I'm dying. (been down that road). Hope this may help you as it did me when I was on 3rd shift.
Tired, heavy in the body. If I'm really tired (no- not drunk!) it can seem like the room or the bed is moving. Sometimes it can feel like my body is much longer or bigger than it actually is, or I can't feel parts of it. There can be a really strange feeling like things are moving in and out (no- not sex!). Sometimes random thoughts will pop through my mind, or random mental images (pictures). It's kind of fun to watch them, but if I watch too hard, I wake up, if I watch too easy, I fall asleep! The thoughts and images are call hypnogaugic (probably spelled it wrong) imagery, and are perfectly normal. The point is, it's not unusual to have weird feelings before falling asleep.
Acceptance and receiving the omnipotent Devinne presence of God and the cosmic life force manifesting in quantum-fold realities of purpose, emanating and emerging from deep within spiritual self and being. The trust place in this power to awaken to a new day for re-innovating, renewed, revitalized perspective, for further understanding and appreciating all life currently contained, not only on this ever changing worldly plane of mortal existence, but of the totality of universal expansion progressing throughout and beyond limitless infinite time and space.
in order for me to fall asleep,i have to visualize building things or putting things together or how to arrange my furniture, otherwise i stay awake all night.
