Depression med?

Well, you'll certainly want to get in touch with a Psychiatrist if you have not already done so. He or she can prescribe something that will fit your needs and your budget.
In terms of price, Wal-Mart has that crazy generic drug program..$4.00/30 day supply of certain generic drugs; they have a list of antidepressants. They do have generic Paxil and Prozac, either of which might help with your anxiety and depression.

Keep in mind also that different people respond different to different drugs, so you may have to tweek medications or dosages until you find just the right combination that works for you.
Good luck!
Well I'm not a Dr., but it really depends on your general health and medical history. Some things may not be good for you to take. I could tell you what I take that works great, but it might not be great for you. If you have no insurance, whatever the Dr. prescribes, ask for samples first. I do hope you get something that helps though. There are lots of good anti-depressants these days. Best of luck to you.
Definitely talk to your doctor if you are feeling that way. But also consider why you are experiencing those symptoms, if it is from a change in schedule, a change in work, graduating, family illness, friends, etc. Once you are able to figure out why you are feeling that way in combination with a drug, you will be able to gradually wean yourself off the drug so you wouldn't have to be dependent on it. Even though you may not have insurance, look into free health clinics which will be able to provide you with healthcare and at a reasonable price. They will be able to give you a prescription for a generic depression drug (the generics work just as good as the name brand because they must have the same active ingredients as the name brand to be sold). Also, in the while, try to get health insurance. I know it may be pricey, but you will be able to get counseling services too and other options available to you
Hi, I take the generic of celexa and it helps me to deal with anziety a lot. I think if you took it before and it was good, you should consider going back on it. I think it will calm you. Although, it does make me a little tired, but I find its worth it. Sometimes if it gets real bad and I take 1/2 a xanax with it, then I definitely need a nap the next day. But, I think you get used to it after a while. I think I might need to take it the rest of my life. I dont think its a temporary thing. I dont have suicidal thoughts either. My teenage son is dealing with that kind of depression, and he is on 2 different kind of meds for that. I also took lexapro before, which worked really well too. Good luck-
Medicine is not the answer for everything.Meditation ,slowing down and learning to control your emotions and work on the problems that are causing the tension.Therapy can help you find some answers.

Hi, i think the best choice is Prozac, works very good (i tried) and is the cheapest.
Good luck.
There isn't a person on this site who can accurately reply to your question unless that person is a doctor. If I were you I would return to the doctor who gave you Celexa and ask him to help you. There are many very good anti-depressants available which should help. The trick is to find the right one. And this kind of experiment must be done by a competent doctor. At times a kick from the right medication can return you to normal very fast. Hope this will be true for you. There are other things that you can do in order to rid yourself of depression. Exercise. Walking. Reading. Don't become a couch potato and sit all day watching TV. Eat nourishing food. Keep away from sugar and heavy fat. Try to talk to people about any subject that comes to mind. Associating with others helps. Sleep can be controlled with the right food and medication like Ambien CR or something similar.
