Online counseling?
Question:
Not like talking to a computer-- but actual volunteers?
Answers:
No. You have to idea who you are talking to---you or them. Anyone giving professional counseling must be licensed and you must sign a HIPAA privacy statement.
You have to see someone in person to get counseling.
You can call and talk to a volunteer minister at 1800 HELP 4 YU and the website is www.volunteerministers.org. There are also some on-line booklets on the site if you scroll down a bit that can help in different areas of your life like relationships, ups and downs in life, work, etc.
I am not a therapist or a doctor of any kind. I am a life coach and I can teach you some methods that might help you cope until you can get some other help or get back on your feet. I am also an ordained minister, but I don't generally do any kind of spiritual counseling unless the person specifically wants that. Otherwise I stick to secular methods. Or you might want to join one of these free yahoo groups and just vent. Not knowing more about what it going on with you I'm not sure which one to suggest. I have one I just started up about anxiety if you are interested in that.
