Should my cousin go to rehab?

Question:
My cousin is 28 years old and biopolar. He has been using marijuana regularly since he was 13, as well as other recreational drugs intermittently. Do you think he should he go to rehab?

Answers:
ask him, The only way I got into AA was because my counselor kept on telling me to go and she had gained my trust and well I was ready to change. Family or friends could not have convinced me to do it.
Yes.it's probably the marijuana that has made him bipolar to begin with.

But because he is an adult, he can't be forced to go to rehab..if he really doesn't want to quit using drugs---then no rehab is going to help him. He has to want to quit.
shouldnt he be the one considering this?
yes.he just might need to dry out and realise that all that
@#$%dont help at all.
Only if he is ready, or else he will say "no, no, no..."

(Amy Winehouse...)
No, rehab won't cure bipolar. He needs lithium for that.
i would hope so. and you as a family member should in courage him to do so.
