If you find it..let me know.
hell
i dont think there is a least stressful place to live because the stress in your own mind caused by your conditions is going to be high no matter where you live..althou maybe a place out in the middle of nowhere that is nice and quiet will be helpful so you can sit back and listen to nature
Depression is all about friends and family. Take a trip or move away until stronger. You know this if you are not doped up on pills.
Dont live in the U.S and that is half your problem solved! Move to Australia! We all live here who suffer these same issues...all caught from the american tv shows, music, celebrities...and so on.
I don't know that there is a best place..but there are probably things one can do to de-stress life rather easily.

I wouldn't advise living in an urban environment, no major cities..the lifestyle is too rushed there, you need something more settled and quiet, slower paced. Some small town scene, where you can work some low level job (less stress than a high level one).

I would advise on getting yourself a library card and renting old classic movies, investing in a lot of candles, aromatherapy products..and generally doing anything you can that you find relaxing. If you find that something stresses you out unduly, and that includes people, eliminate them from your life..it's not worth the hassle.

This may seem a little cold and calculating, but if the truth be known, you are the only person that has your own best interests at heart. Keep only the people that truly love you in your life, and do what makes you feel good. Be selfish, if it helps you.

There are a ton of small towns in the U.S. that would fit the bill for you.

Good luck!
