One more week, sweetie! Just one more week and the nausea and severe fatigue will be nearly gone. At the same time, the meds will be "kickin' in". So, it's kinda getting rewarded for your suffering!...Eat saltines like recommended for women with morning sickness. How 'bout riding in the car? Do you feel like yopur goingto have a barf-a0-rama then? I swear, I "felt like hangin' my head out the car window like a golden retriever, but...what I did, was put my head down between my legs like ya do if you feel like your'e going to pass out. And if you need to and can, take a nap!
Try ginger tea or candied ginger. Ginger has chemicals in it that have been shown in studies to reduce nausea.
these symptoms only last for about a week or so. ur body is just adapting to the meds. i personally had no sideeffects from lexapro. the drug is prescribed for depression or anxiety and sometimes both. so mabey its not the drug making u feel bad but ur illness. hang in there
good luck
I used to be on Lexapro, but it was too expensive even with my insurance so my doctor switched me to Citalopram, it's generic for Celexa, and for me it works just the same and it $40 cheaper. So if you can't get ride of the nausea you might talk to your doctor about switching medications. Whatever you do do stop taking it. I would go a week or two without getting my refil and it makes you very light headed and dizzy. You can't just stop taking it you have to ease yourself off of it. Hope I've been some help.
