its probably nothing at all. its amazing what happens when your alone your mind really can play tricks on you. go make something to eat relax and watch the television (no scary films) have a pillow fight just stop thinking about the smell and I am sure it will go away. oh and do check that the gas is off on the cooker just in case. You can always call someone to come around if its that bad.
just get out and call an adult. does it smell like rotten eggs? just get out.
the weird smell is probably an old sandwich rotting or something, and the noises probably means you have a rat. set some rat traps and spray some air freshener and you'll be fine.
If it is some kind of gas you guys should have a Carbin Binoxide alarm and it will go off. and go outside or something in the daylight if you are seriously scared of the noises.

My fone ran at 11pm sharp,Dark hall way in my house and I went down slowly and as soon as I turned on the light it stopped-my fone was SUPPOSE to be on the bed and it wasnt-it dissappread I asked every1 and no1 new where it was,the minute I got out of my room-with no fone I noticed 2 pruises on my neck lol donno wat happend and then the next day I found my fone on the window sil and I asked EVERYONE in the house who put it there-no answer.
i would open the windows make sure nothings burning and spray some air freshener.does it smell eletrical?like burning plastic or wires i would check all the plug and sockets in the house.
It may not be a bad idea to go outside and wait till a guardian gets home, since you don't know what this gas is. Once another person is there, they may be able to diagnose whatit is. In the meantime, go outside, as this gas may be poisonous.
