Answers: LOL.... Good luck!! That is a hard one! The accurate thing is you are going to HER house. Since you will be contained by HER house, hopefully if she truly is OCD, she will want to be in control of her home and not expect you to do much. I would not donate to do anything unless she asked you to. You could always grant, but leave it at that. There will be smaller number for her to over analyse that way.
Just relax and soak up the Holiday with your wonderful modern baby and husband and permit her fret over if the place settings are perfectly wrinkled up and the gifts are perfectly wrapped!
Try to humiliate as much of it as possible!
Some of her is probably just the run of the mill in-lawness that everybody hates. OCD is serious, you cant transmute her!
You may well be too busy near the demands of your new little one to notice the problem near Mother-in Law. However,offer to backing with clearing the table and the usual things that guests do, she will almost to be sure decline your offer as things enjoy to be done the way SHE like for her to feel comfortable.
