Wow- he's got a good imagination- that's impressive! I bet he does really good on those IQ tests where you have to rotate the objects in space, too. Does he think in images a lot? (For example, when getting something out of the fridge, I don't name the food I'm looking for, I just have a picture of it in my mind.)

It could just be that he has a good visual imagination, and he misses his old house. The images, and the feeling of having to throw up could be because of his feelings about having to move. Listening to him, giving him a chance to express those feelings, might be really helpful. He might feel sad, scared, angry or overwhelmed, especially if the move was a forced one. Or if it was something scary, like his old house was foreclosed on, condemned or torn down.

If the images are really bothering him, and they don't lose their intensity over time, and if talking about his feelings doesn't help, seeing a counselor might be a good idea.
maybe he should see a counsellor or a psyhiatrist because i really don't know what this could be. Good luck
Feeling like you are walking through the house in his mind is in fact fine what isn't is how going over and over in is mind is effecting him over all. the best thing you can do is get your friend to just pop in and see a doctor.
take care
To be honest with you, I can't give you an idea of a disorder that fits these symptoms without talking with him. My guess it is just a symptom of something else. Of what? I have no idea, there could be so many causes. I would guess there is something in his childhood or during the years when he did live there that is keeping him tied to it. Maybe some type of trauma? Of it doesn't even need to by negative. But I would encourage him to talk to a therapist and have the therapist help him figure out his feelings. It sounds like an interesting case. Good luck!
have you ever see the film butterfly effect 1 or 2, if you havnt, go and watch it and you'll will understand better what hes going through. hope this help big smiles :) lov soph xxx
