the wiring in the brain is different.my ex boyfriend had it what a challenge to deal with for sure he used to hear sirens and dive into the bushes.man i would just have to calm him down and coax him out!!keep your chin up.see a dr. if she is willing the med will make her groggy at first but it helps with the urge to run and hide.good luck
