Question:
I'm male 23 from north england suffering from depression + social anxiety, i have a slight anger problem too. It took me a while to realize exactly what was wrong with me, i went through a denial period, and was thinking it was everyone elses fault. Then i decided to take responsibility and go get help. I went alone to see a doctor back in april, i showed him some stuff i wrote down and he was going to refer me to a psychiatrist. Heres where my question comes in. I was told it would be 6 - 8 weeks until i get a letter with my appointment date on. It's not been almost 4 months and i haven't heard anything back. Is this normal? If not then I'll need to give them a ring and find out whats happening.
Answers:
yes i would give him a bell for 2 reasons it has been long enough and second it took you a while to own your problem and the longer you wait the more chance that you will lose you zest to get the problem taken care of.
