Kids help phone?
Question:
Answers:
Being shy is a toughy! As a child, I ,too, was shy and had several occasions where I just could not say a word. It took me several years to figure out why I was that way. I was so afraid people would not accept my answers and consider me a dummy .everyone is not the same, and I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR SITUATION,but most children are shy and takes a while to open up. I REALLY DON'T KNOW MUCH about kids help phone but it is a starting point,
and I'M SURE THEY DO HAVE QUESTIONS TO GET THE CONVERSATIONS GOING. REMEMBER, YOUR IMPUT
CAN BE VERY IMPORTANT TOO .IF U CAN, CONFIDE IN A FRIEND . Sorry to hear about tough times BUT i know they will get better. JUST REACH OUT TO SOME ONE AND FACE YOUR FEARS .IT WILL HAPPEN AND THINGS WILL GET BETTER FOR YOU.
I'm not familiar with them in particular, but I would think that they would let you guide the conversation and just listen at first as you tell them what's on your mind. Then they might offer some advice. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it, they are there because they want to give it. I hope everything works out for you :)
I called them once when I was a lot younger. It's not really worth the call. You'll just get some tired, crabby woman who won't want to listen to you, but working there looks good on some resumes and grad school applications. I remember the woman threatening to call an ambulance on me because I was talking about self-injury!! Unless you want to deal with talking a woman out of getting you locked up for being crazy, don't bother.
